Project Freda provides free/sliding scale mental health services to economically challenged individuals, and also places a high priority on assisting formerly incarcerated individuals integrate back into society successfully.
Project Freda is a non-profit with 501(c)3 status from the Internal Revenue Service. It is also a Non-Stock Corporation incorporated in the State of Virginia and is registered with the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services as a non-profit approved to solicit donations.
Project Freda is named after the mother of Gillian Clissold, the founder of Project Freda.
